At my new job I noiced that some of the boys had this great screen saver called ‘Electric Sheep’

All being that this program downloads (via in built torrent client) generated screen saver, which is created when your computer is idle. You can vote for the ones you like and download ones extra!

Also for those on a Mac, you can have it set as your background if you like. It does chew about 20% cpu on my Macbook 2.0 but its still cool! Google a program called Backlight

I couldn’t resist this purchase onboard my return flight from Beijing!

Ok, Now that my first trip to China is nearly over I thought I would reflect on some notes for Australian travelers ! Its quite an overwhelming experience if you don’t speak the language .

Items you must take -
Australian Chocolate - Cadbury  (Chocolate is hard to find and is in limited supply!) You’ll miss it!
Coffee - Outside of Beijing or Shanghai dont expect to find any good coffee shops. There is a national UBC coffee chain, but by western standards is like ground up Shit! But as a last resort!

After my second week in here I started to miss my Cornflakes , you can’t bring them into the country. I did manage to find them in the imported section of the local supermarket (its imported from Japan!) but its better then fried rice every morning. 

TV in CHINA
There is heaps of TV stations in China, although only one is an English station. CCTV 9 , great if you like bussiness news (although its mostly Government propaganda.
